The Role
The Digital Engineering Group promotes a holistic approach to design and construction model-based services and technologies. The group defines the company strategy around the use of BIMs, data integration across models and departments, and cultural change across project teams to realize significant risk reduction on construction cost and schedule.
Leveraging the design, engineering, and construction knowledge of Suffolk and Suffolk Design, the Digital Engineering Team is charged with executing Virtual Design & Construction, Plan + Control, and creating innovative solutions in tech and process to ensure Suffolk is the best contractor in every region it operates.
This position is responsible for managing Digital Engineering, Virtual Design & Construction, and Plan + Control on multiple large and complex projects, with a heavy focus on MEP coordination and design-assist.

The Role
The Operational Excellence group is actively seeking an Operations Strategy Manager to spearhead Suffolk's pivotal operational initiatives, facilitating scalable operations in line with the company's ambitious growth trajectory. Reporting directly to the Director, Strategy and Change Management of Operational Excellence, this person will oversee and tackle the formulation and implementation of recommendations to improve the performance of Suffolk’s operations by using a multifaceted approach including thought leadership, value creation identification, stakeholder management, financial and operational analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Beyond project management, the selected individual will serve as a strategic collaborator to the Director of Strategy and Change Management, actively contributing insights to align priorities within the Operations Excellence department. This role necessitates a dynamic blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution—a professional capable of delving into challenges while applying structured thinking to complex operational scenarios.
Operating in a highly cross-functional capacity, the Operations Strategy Manager will collaborate closely with business unit leaders to formulate solutions and engage with functional and operational heads to drive successful implementation.

The Pre-Construction Manager will coordinate heavily with Corporate and leadership and resources, as well as Trade Contractor Division Leaders (“TCDL’s”) to identify scopes of work that TCDL’s will estimate and schedule for the purpose of submitting a comprehensive proposals to assist TCDL’s during the project pursuit and pre-construction phases. The successful candidate will be able to identify, coordinate, and communicate proposal development between each TCDL’s and our Corporate and Estimating divisions.

Interested applicants will have a degree in Engineering or Construction Management and the skills required to plan vertical construction projects using Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software. This person will be willing to learn how to merge 3D BIM models with CPM schedules to create visual schedules, integrate lean (pull planning) methodologies with the CPM schedule, and apply innovative techniques for production management using linear schedules and takt time analytics to improve process flows. At various stages of the project, this person will provide technical and analytical input to facilitate re-planning, and workflow sequencing to ensure projects finish within their prescribed timeframe.

The Role:
The Senior Insurance Coordinator manages subcontractor insurance and CCIP administration for all assigned Suffolk projects as well as supporting the Insurance Coordinator’s in their role and supporting the IPM and Director of Risk Management functions. This position functions as link between the Risk Management Team, Suffolk’s Broker, and the project teams to ensure subcontractor compliance as it relates to Suffolk Construction’s insurance programs’ strategic objectives.

The Estimator, Mission Critical is responsible for the coordination of all project budgeting, including preparing quantity surveys, obtaining subcontractor pricing, reviewing historical cost data and ensuring compliance with scope of work, as well as offering construction feasibility and value engineering counsel. The Estimator must stay abreast of industry materials and labor pricing trends and developments to deliver accurate and timely estimates for preconstruction, hard bids, negotiated bids, value engineering, general conditions and systems studies and comparisons. The Estimator also provides administrative support to the Chief Estimator, engages in consistent communications with trade partners, maintains up-to-date records of bids, and manages the prequalification process for the hiring of trade partners.

The Senior Business Systems Engineer, People & Culture (Sr. HRIS Engineer) will play an active and critical role in supporting Suffolk Construction’s integrated P&C technology platforms. The Sr. HRIS Engineer will focus on development, support and troubleshooting, system configuration, data integrity, testing system changes, writing, and developing reports, queries, analyzing data, and supporting enhancements, implementations, upgrades and patches. This role will be partner with senior leaders of P&C and serve as a liaison with various stakeholders to provide innovative and integrated human resource system solutions, operational support, and reporting capabilities. Key systems to support include but are not limited to Oracle HR, iCIMS/Avature, Saba, Fuse Learning, SplashBI & ServiceNow.

The Role
The Digital Engineering Group promotes a holistic approach to design and construction model-based services and technologies. The group defines the company strategy around the use of BIMs, data integration across models and departments, and cultural change across project teams to realize significant risk reduction on construction cost and schedule. The Digital Engineering Visualizations Team is responsible for 3D visualization efforts nationally. Working closely with the Business Development, Pursuit Marketing, and Operations, the team provides logistics plans and models, renderings, animations, 4D schedules, and VR/AR/MR content to support the pursuit of new business. This team also supports Suffolk Project Teams with visualizations to support decision making on complex construction activities.
