This position works with the Saftey Manager to help administer, direct, and implement compliance with the Corporate Safety and Health policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of Company standard operating procedures and goals for Safety and Health Plan. The Construction QA/QC Assistant, Mission Critical is a primary role where an individual is directly responsible for the implementation and management of applicable quality control plan(s) as directed by the General Manager on a company-wide, division-wide or project-wide basis, to assure work performed by Suffolk Construction and its subcontractors is performed in compliance with applicable specifications, plans and governmental requirements from project commencement through close out (and commissioning, if applicable). The Assistant Superintendent, Mission Critical is responsible to plan and execute the construction program according to Suffolk’s procedures, including safety, quality, and schedule. Assistant Superintendent responsibilities on a project may be divided on a project by area or by trade discipline.

The Role
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all necessary project resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. This includes the maintenance of budget and schedule, and the management and administration of all contractual requirements, agreements with trade partners, purchase orders, meeting minutes and shop drawing logs. This individual also manages risk, insurances, general work performance and quality, and overall team progress against the project plan through consistent communication and collaboration with the owner and project team members.
