Suffolk (“Suffolk Construction”) works with third party recruiting agencies. We sincerely believe our continued success relies on our ability to attract top talent. We also respect the time and energy it takes to source qualified and interested candidates. Knowing this, we work with a group of preferred vendors that have been selected as a result of a screening and evaluation process by our Talent Acquisition Group. Due to the high volume of solicitations and the competitive landscape for identifying talent, we perform an annual assessment of our preferred vendor list.
If you would like to be considered as a potential future preferred vendor, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and include information about your firm as well as a primary point of contact. Please note that providing this information DOES NOT qualify you as a preferred vendor.
All vendors must have an executed Suffolk vendor agreement signed by the Vice President of Talent Acquisition in order to receive payment for a candidate placement. Any resume submitted to any employee without a Suffolk signed vendor agreement in place will be considered the property of Suffolk. Securing a signed preferred vendor agreement from the Vice President of Talent Acquisition is the only way you will be paid. Verbal commitments from any member of the Suffolk staff will not be considered binding. Additionally, Suffolk will not pay a fee to a third-party recruiter that has not coordinated their recruiting activity with a member of the Talent Acquisition Group.
It is the responsibility of all third-party recruiting /staffing agencies to know and abide by this policy.

The Project Executive provides overall leadership and direction on project team performance, client relations, contract negotiations and compliance, trade partner management, schedule and budget management, and compliance with company safety and quality standard operating procedures. The individual must be an exceptional communicator and will be responsible for serving as the client’s direct point of contact on projects. The Project Executive must be a strong leader and advocate for team collaboration and innovation, and must have the ability to lead, manage, cultivate and mentor team members to promote their professional growth.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all necessary project resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. This includes the maintenance of budget and schedule, and the management and administration of all contractual requirements, agreements with trade partners, purchase orders, meeting minutes and shop drawing logs. This individual also manages risk, insurances, general work performance and quality, and overall team progress against the project plan through consistent communication and collaboration with the owner and project team members. Canddate needs to have experience with high-rise and Type I construction.
The Superintendent is arguably the most important role on a building construction project site—this individual’s leadership is often considered the most critical factor in a project’s success. The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing all day-to-day job site activities, including project team performance, site conditions, compliance with our “build smart” approach and safety and quality standards, compliance with scope, and effective management of trade partners. A primary responsibility of this individual is to establish and implement the baseline schedule based on the contracts, while proactively addressing challenges that could impact the progress of work and ensuring that the work performed is consistent with the contracted scope
of work. Candidate should have Type I and High-Rise and/or Hospitality experience.

Under the Supervision of the Project Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent is responsible to plan and execute the construction program according to Suffolk’s procedures, including safety, quality, and schedule. Assistant Superintendent responsibilities on a project may be divided on a project by area or by trade discipline.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all necessary project resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. This includes the maintenance of budget and schedule, and the management and administration of all contractual requirements, agreements with trade partners, purchase orders, meeting minutes and shop drawing logs. This individual also manages risk, insurances, general work performance and quality, and overall team progress against the project plan through consistent communication and collaboration with the owner and project team members. The Senior Project Manager must be an effective leader and communicator able to manage, cultivate and mentor team members to promote their professional growth.
This particular project requires someone with extensive high-rise Type I construction and/or hospitality experience. Candidates must be familiar with building in California and understand local building codes/laws. This is a permanent position so candidate must be able to relocate and this opportunity does not pay per diem.
Responsible for a broad spectrum of duties, covering all aspects of project management, including project planning, cost management, cost estimating, time/labor management, quality management, contract administration, and safety management for the Equipment division. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of project management are successfully completed. Manages overall project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, project specific estimating, submittal/RFI procurement, document control, constructability resolutions, aspects of project accounting, project specific purchasing and safety, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Career Start is a two-year rotational program for recent college graduates who are passionate about a construction management career. Participants join the program with a national cohort of peers and participate in three rotations to master the fundamentals of Estimating, Project Management, and Field Operations. Complete with leadership exposure and professional development opportunities, Career Start is key to building the pipeline of talent at our company. A degree in construction management or a related field not required.
