Summary

The Digital Products Leader for Risk, Legal, and Supply Chain drives the strategy, development, and ongoing optimization of Suffolk’s digital product portfolio, supporting these critical business functions.

Serving as a strategic partner to business leaders, this role manages the entire product lifecycle through discovery, design, delivery, adoption, and iteration, all driven by measurable business outcomes. They define product visions, translate user needs into priorities, align initiatives to business objectives, and manage strategic vendor relationships to maximize return on technology investments.

The leader provides hands-on technical product oversight across the broader product ecosystem, ensuring architectural integrity, operational resilience, and value realization from digital investments. They work closely with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to surface opportunities, clarify requirements, and deliver high-impact solutions.

This role is pivotal to Suffolk’s shift from a traditional application support model to a product-centric operating model, building capabilities that anticipate business needs, accelerate agility, and embed continuous improvement. Success requires strong change leadership to drive adoption, build stakeholder confidence, and sustain organizational transformation.

Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

· Define and champion the vision and strategy for digital products supporting Risk, Legal, and Supply Chain, aligned with enterprise priorities

· Lead the full product lifecycle from strategy and discovery through delivery, adoption, and continuous optimization

· Collaborate with business leaders to identify needs, prioritize opportunities, and translate objectives into actionable roadmaps

· Partner with Business and Process Analysts to design solutions that create scalable, efficient, and integrated workflows

· Establish and track success metrics linked to business outcomes such as efficiency, compliance, and risk reduction

· Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to guide innovation and long-term product evolution

· Lead change management initiatives using structured frameworks (e.g., ADKAR) to accelerate adoption and engagement

· Align technical roadmaps with enterprise architecture and long-term strategic plans

· Balance short-term business needs with long-term maintainability and value realization

· Anticipate and mitigate cross-functional risks, dependencies, and constraints

Operational Responsibilities

· Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on ROI, business value, and user feedback

· Drive product releases through close collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors

· Coordinate UAT, oversee integrations, validate environment readiness, and configure applications with the team

· Maintain clear documentation including user stories, business cases, roadmaps, and implementation plans

· Serve as primary liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution

· Manage vendor relationships, oversee support cases, coordinate upgrades, and ensure SLA compliance

· Oversee incident response, escalations, and resolution processes to maintain product quality and stability

· Evaluate technical feasibility and risk of new features or changes to ensure alignment with enterprise standards

· Ensure products remain secure, reliable, and valuable throughout their lifecycle

· Drive operational improvements that enhance reliability, anticipate business needs, and promote continuous improvement

Qualifications

Education & : Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least five years of experience in product management or technical product ownership roles
  • Proven success driving digital transformation in complex, cross-functional environments
  • Familiarity with construction technology platforms and ecosystems
  • Experience with product portfolios spanning contract lifecycle management, compliance, risk documentation, vendor oversight, and supply chain coordination
  • Track record of aligning technology investments with field needs and enterprise strategy

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands.
