The Advanced Manufacturing Construction Controls Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects within our advanced manufacturing facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, construction management principles, and control systems to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and closure of construction projects related to advanced manufacturing facilities.
  • Controls Development: Establish and implement construction controls, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project performance metrics and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of construction professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction controls and project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
