The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Program Manager to join our People & Culture team. This role will implement Human Resources initiatives and execute programs that enhance the overall employee experience and promote a positive workplace culture. This role requires a creative thinker who is passionate about employee engagement. Responsibilities include onboarding and integration program management, including a 3-day We Are Suffolk orientation program, national point of contact for employee-led Team Suffolk experience group, and employee engagement, including overall employee listening strategy and survey execution.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Experience & Engagement
    • Develop and implement Human Resources programs that enhance employee engagement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current employee experience and identify areas for improvement.
    • Analyze data and metrics related to employee experience to make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
    • Support employee listening strategy, including survey execution, report development, and trend analysis.
    • Manage employee recognition programs, such as the core values awards program.
    • Stay current on industry trends and best practices for employee experience and incorporate relevant strategies into programs and initiatives.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of company values, mission, and goals and ensure employee experience initiatives align with company objectives.
    • Serve as the central point of contact for Team Suffolk experience team captains, lead quarterly meetings, ensure all offices and new markets have a Team Suffolk lead identified and trained, and lead planning and execution of national employee events.
    • Develop experience and engagement communications and partner with internal communications to ensure prioritization and alignment to the communications calendar.
  • Onboarding
    • Own the various onboarding programs, including week one onboarding, peer partner program, and We Are Suffolk program management, including the monthly program logistics, budget, facilitation, ensuring cohorts are at full capacity, delivering an exceptional participant experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Human Resources program management experience, including experience with multidisciplinary programs, preferably in HR, training and development, or a related function.
  • Experience leading large, company-wide programs with demonstrated success and return on investment.
  • Possesses sound judgment and ability to make decisions promptly and with confidence independently; focused on understanding the bigger picture.
  • Strong independent and critical thinking and analytical skills needed to look across a variety of complex issues and the ability to drive them forward.
  • Adapts well to changing plans and priorities, comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and storytelling with data.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
