The Role:

The Strategy Analyst will play a critical role in unlocking market and operational insights, and applying those insights to transform the business. The Strategy Analyst will serve as a primary focal point for assessing new market opportunities within and beyond traditional construction channels, creating the strategy and business plan for those opportunities, and driving the annual 5-year planning process to capitalize on those growth opportunities. This individual will partner with the organization’s senior leaders to identify priorities, analyze and plan recommendations, and implement solutions.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the company to identify and prioritize strategic and operational opportunities
  • Design and conduct market, competitor, financial, and operational analysis and deliver clear, actionable strategic recommendations
  • Analyze new market opportunities within and outside the core business and develop business plans to assess growth potential and investment requirements
  • Support 5-year planning process across regions by facilitating process design, data collection, workshop facilitation, strategy development, and strategy communication
  • Partner with leaders to develop strategies and business plans for new businesses
  • Guide the implementation of strategic projects including implementation planning, milestone setting, and tracking
  • Prepare executive level presentations summarizing findings and recommending actions


  • Strong problem-solving skills including:
    • Defining and deconstructing problems
    • Structuring appropriate quantitative and qualitative/conceptual analyses
    • Analyzing operational and financial data
    • Performing competitor/industry research
    • Participating in and conducting internal and external interviews
    • Identifying implications and "so whats" of data and analysis
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize and drive multiple simultaneous projects
  • Strong financial and excel modeling skills
  • Ability to formulate and deliver concise communication to senior management of complex information and recommendations, in both written and oral presentation
  • Collaborative style to partner with internal and external stakeholders across levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership qualities with demonstrated ability to gain the confidence of individuals at all levels of the company
  • Willingness to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to ensure success
  • High ethical standards and personal integrity
  • Two years of pre-MBA strategy consulting experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
