  • Overview

    The Manager, People & Culture Operations oversees the day-to- day activities of and contributes to the long-term planning on various HR programs and services. This role is accountable for monitoring service level agreements, increasing quality standards and customer satisfaction in addition to developing strategies to enhance our service delivery model.


    This position collaborates with Finance, People & Culture Centers of expertise, HRIS and the Director, HRIS and People Operations to ensure that Suffolk provides a high quality, cost effective total rewards program.

    • Partner with P&C leadership and site leaders to understand business needs and services requirements.
    • Work with team members to set direction and priorities for each location.
    • Develop plans to implement and enhance People Operations delivery model.


    Change Agent

    • Champion for change, increase adoption of our service model.
    • Proactively look for process improvements.
    • Promote and lead the standardization of processes, identify and implement process improvements.
    • Encourage team members to think/act proactively.


    Engage and Develop Talent

    • Coach and develop key talent. Ensure goals development plans are in place for all team members.
    • Build and sustain high performing and engaged P&C Operations team with the right level and mix of skills.
    • Work with the People Operations team members to balance and manage their workload.
    • Manage ServiceNow dashboards, understanding capacity needs.


    Customer focus

    • Maintain a customer-oriented culture within the operations team that continuously strives to resolve customer needs on first point of contact and drive self-service usage.
    • Manage service levels agreements to ensure a high service standard.

    • Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of experience in a related field
    • Knowledge of HRIS systems – Oracle experience a plus
    • Proven success as an influencer and change agent
    • Ability to provide best in class customer service
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
    • Solution agent with strong planning, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to make decisions promptly and with confidence

    Working Conditions

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
