  • Overview

    The Vice President, Strategy & Operations is responsible for identifying the analytic and information needs of the business and providing guidance for decision-making with fact-based recommendations. He/she will also identify opportunities to improve the productivity and impact/quality of all service delivery activities, enabling leadership to make the right decisions and take the right actions toward achieving their Strategic Plan.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead rolling 5-year strategic business planning effort across the Company.
    • Prepare annual Business and Operating Plan in collaboration with FP&A across the Enterprise.
    • Develop business cases and scope documents for projects.
    • Create strategic and operational project plans and supporting documentation for each project.
    • Provide change management support to corporate initiatives and individual projects.
    • Identify opportunities and develop business cases for innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Be recognized as an expert in strategic planning and execution.
    • Support M&A and due diligence efforts as necessary.
    • Responsible for market research and intelligence including assessment of competition.
    • From time-to-time the Company engages 3rd party consultants. You would have responsibility to manage these relationships.
    • Across a matrixed environment, lead and manage teams; coach and mentor team members; and lead and ensure cross functional alignment.
    • Lead strategic analyses and analytics projects.
    • Lead quarterly prioritization discussions with a fact-based approach.
    • Provide analytical support for the implementation of priorities.
    • Assist in annual goal setting.
    • Enable flawless execution and delivery of analytics related reports, working in partnership with stakeholder teams.
    • Support ongoing changes in reports and dashboards to address changes in business landscape.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and MBA required.
    • 10+ years of progressive business/leadership experience in business operations and strategic consulting

    Working Conditions

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
