The Senior Construction Quality Control (CQC) Manager position is a primary role where an individual is directly responsible for the implementation and management of applicable quality control plan(s) as directed by the General Manager on a company-wide, division-wide or project-wide basis, to assure work performed by Suffolk Construction and its subcontractors is performed in compliance with applicable specifications, plans and governmental requirements from project commencement through close out (and commissioning, if applicable).  


  • 7-10 years of demonstrable, verifiable field experience as a construction contractor superintendent or similar position/function on school projects of similar complexity and scope under the jurisdiction of DSA.
  • Be efficient in MS Office Software.  
  • Hold a CPR/First Aid and OSHA certification.

  • Accurate with an attention to detail.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
