  • Overview

    The People & Culture business systems analyst is responsible for the administration, liaison and coordination of human resource systems projects. This position collaborates with HRIS, Finance, People & Culture Centers of expertise, and the VP of Human Resources, to ensure that Suffolk provides high quality HR systems.

    • Develop a formal plan for carrying out each assigned project using appropriate planning methods, requirements gathering, design and testing.
    • Direct/execute assigned projects, including data collection/design and development specifications/testing criteria/recommendations and implementations.
    • Make oral presentations to all levels of management concerning proposed projects and make recommendations for the proposed projects.
    • Meet with clients to discuss and clarify requests for projects made by the business concerning human resource systems.
    • Prepare detailed written reports on project and documentation for each project to serve both technical and general users.
    • Design, develop and implement comprehensive processes for human-resource-related data.
    • Develop reports to meet management requests and needs for human-resource-related information to various clients.
    • Work closely with HRIS team to maintain and enhance human resource systems.
    • Create and run reports
    • Perform related tasks as requested.
    • Develop system and process documentation.
    • Responsible for training stakeholders and internal clients in the use of various system functionality.

    • Minimum three years of experience using Oracle HR Systems
    • Experience using ServiceNow a plus
    • Bachelor’s degree, technology or humanity field preferred
    • Strong combination of technical and consultative skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Solution agent with strong planning, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

    Working Conditions

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
