Our newly formed Data Analytics group is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to actively monitor and analyze our project operations and make recommendations to executive management about improving processes to increase efficiencies and improve profitability.   • Design operations dashboards - Lead and manage the design, production and continuous improvement of key operational metrics, including identifying leading indicators that that help manage outcomes
  • Ensure data quality - Conduct regular quality reviews of data inputs, and final analytics to ensure a high-quality end product
  • Recommend operational metrics and targets – Analyze historical portfolio of projects to understand baseline performance and recommend targets for operational metrics
  • Collect and analyze data - Structure, design and conduct analytics to understand underlying drivers of operational performance and trends; track trends and development in key operational metrics
  • Recommend process improvements - Collaborate with Operations to conduct semi-annual reviews of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and make recommendations on improvements to drive efficiencies
  • Share best practices – Discover pockets of best practice across portfolio of projects and disseminate across our national footprint
  • Prepare and present reports - Design and deliver monthly operations analytics report to national and regional operational management on trends in operations performance, highlighting issues to address; develop ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Manage special projects – E.g., conduct studies to address specific operational questions, develop and produce new data and analytics solutions to support operations
  • Provide consulting and data support – Partner with regional COOs and Operations Support to provide data analytics support
  • Build strong relationships – Develop and maintain a strong network of operations stakeholders and serve as an agent of change to embed a data-driven decision-making culture across the operations
  • Ad hoc training - Provide training to operations data analysts and project managers as needed on data analytics tools and processes to enable data discovery and self-service analytics



  • 4-year college degree in a quantitative or operational field
  • 3+ years as an Operations Analyst
  • Experience with labor productivity and / or construction preferred
  • Excellence in analytical problem definition and structuring
  • Relentless focus on data precision and vigilance around appropriate conclusions.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite generally, with an aptitude to learn new programs;
  • Experience with construction management systems, Oracle and SQL
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize implications from analytics
  • Strong people skills, with a focus on client service and team work
  • Ability to multi-task, set clear priorities, and manage projects and tasks with limited oversight

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
