Suffolk has an immediate opening for a Vice President, Operations for the Aviation Sector, to lead and expand its US aviation construction practice throughout the New York metro area. The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced and dynamic leader in alternative delivery methods of construction for aviation facilities and infrastructure with proven experience in growing and maintaining successful client construction relationships. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional client relationship and management skills and demonstrate a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature business judgment. The candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of aviation and construction including alternative delivery concepts including design-build, progressive design-build, construction management at risk and public private partnerships. Suffolk is looking for a self-starter, who can set strategy and achieve results. This position requires strong, successful commercial aviation, public/private, and construction experience and industry knowledge.
