Overview

The Total Rewards Specialist supports the administration and delivery of the company’s total rewards programs, with a strong focus on employee relocation, compensation and benefits documentation, and benefits billing support. This role serves as a key resource for employees, HR partners, and external vendors, ensuring accurate and timely execution of total rewards processes.

 

This role requires an on-site presence 4 days a week in our amazing Boston office - which offers free parking, a free on-site gym and cafeteria and other perks that make for a great culture and unique employee experience!

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer employee relocation activities in partnership with HRBOs, TA, employees, relocation providers, and other external vendors.
  • Coordinate relocation-related payments, reimbursements, allowances, and vendor invoices as applicable.
  • Partner with payroll, HR, finance, and vendors to resolve relocation-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute employee-facing letters and communications related to compensation, benefits, relocation, employment changes, and other total rewards programs.
  • Maintain templates, standard language, and process documentation to support consistent employee communications.
  • Respond to employee and HR inquiries regarding total rewards documentation and provide appropriate follow-up.
  • Assist with monthly benefits billing reconciliation and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Research employee-level billing discrepancies and coordinate corrections as needed.
  • Support benefits administration activities, including data audits, eligibility updates, and vendor file reviews.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee compensation and benefits information.
  • Assist with data audits, reporting, process improvements, and special projects across the Total Rewards function.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to support employee lifecycle activities.
  • Provide support to total rewards team as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in total rewards, HR operations, compensation, benefits, relocation, payroll, or a related HR function.
  • Experience supporting employee relocation programs, benefits administration, or benefits billing preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and professional employee communications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when reviewing data, invoices, and employee records.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and HRIS/HR systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, HR partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.

Actual salaries may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education and other qualifications.
