Overview

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment across Mission CriticalThis individual will provide thought leadership and process management, as well as work with stakeholders across Suffolk to drive a successful outcome. Project types will vary across different areas within Talent Acquisition but will share the common objective of strategic recruitment, research and analysis and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate and work effectively together with corporate and operations teams.  It is the perfect opportunity to join an innovative and energetic team and to drive projects to support Suffolk’s future growth. This position requires going to an office 4 days a week in Boston, Herndon, or Dallas.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to: 

 

  • Source, identify, prescreen and qualify candidates prior to hiring team interviews 
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers to develop position profile and to understand overall needs and requirements. (Description, salary, timing, expectations, etc.) 
  • Coordinate the hiring process and all logistics for recruitment activity 
  • Present an accurate description of the position as well as company history to prospective candidates 
  • Update candidate records via company Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) to maintain current accurate information 
  • Build & maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities 
  • Develop and manage strong consultative relationships with hiring managers and candidates 
  • Perform competitive research 
  • Summarize weekly the status of all active searches throughout the region 
  • As part of Suffolk's People & Culture team, provide a “best in class” onboarding experience to all new hires 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required  
  • 3-5 Years of full life cycle construction industry recruiting experience is strongly preferred 
  • Experience recruiting for complex, specialized, and/or high-priority positions; Mission Critical, data center, or related industry experience strongly preferred. 
  • Must have a high sense of urgency and extremely detail-oriented 
  • Must be a team player, collaborative and positive 
  • Willingness and ability to provide best in class customer service 
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal and organization skills 
  • Sound judgment; knows when to escalate issues as appropriate 
  • Previous experience with iCISMS ATS is a plus 
  • Ability to make decisions promptly and with confidence

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.

Compensation Information

Where required by law, pay ranges can be found in Suffolk's job postings. Base Salary for this position is just one component of Suffolk’s total rewards package for employees. Actual salaries may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education and other qualifications.
