The Role 

 

Suffolk is seeking a passionate and driven Manager, Talent Acquisition, to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team in our Boston office. This full-time position will focus on recruiting top Construction Management professionals to support our rapidly growing Mission Critical operations nationwide 

 

This person will play a key role in delivering a best-in-class candidate experience, building strong consultative relationships with hiring leaders, and developing innovative sourcing strategies to identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent. This position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle recruitment process from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance 
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring needs, develop job profiles, and align on sourcing strategy, timelines, and expectations 
  • Identify, attract, and engage top industry talent using creative and proactive sourcing techniques 
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs 
  • Provide hiring teams with market insights, data, and recommendations to guide decision-making 
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience that reflects Suffolk’s culture and values 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System 
  • Summarize weekly recruiting progress and share updates on open searches, pipeline activity, and candidate flow

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • 5 to 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within the construction, engineering, or AEC industry 
  • Open to candidates with either in-house or agency recruiting experience, ideally with exposure to both 
  • Experience managing a high volume of requisitions and meeting aggressive hiring goals 
  • Strong consultative and relationship-building skills with hiring managers and candidates 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and organization 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • High sense of urgency, strong follow-through, and a passion for delivering exceptional results 
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is required; iCIMS experience preferred but not required 
  • Flexible, collaborative, and comfortable navigating ambiguity

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands.
